The Department of Biotechnology, SJCE, Mysuru is organizing Online FDP on "Cybersecurity: ways to safeguard everyone from cyber crime" from 3rd Aug -7th Aug 2020 as TEQIP III initiative.
In the present era of digitization, everyone is dependent on digital mode of transactions and exposed to the threat of cybercrime like hacking, Identity and data theft, phishing, etc. There is a dire necessity of cyber security awareness as cybercrime is rampant. Everyone should know ways to tackle issues related to such crimes and to know the basics of cyber security. This Faculty development programme (FDP) is devoted to bring awareness about hacking, its types, other cybercrimes and ways to safeguard everyone in their digital mode of transactions.
This FDP is open for faculty of any branch of Science and Engineering from any Indian University / College who are using online mode transactions.
